What to do in Belfast?

If you want to see Belfast and all its sites of historical interest or surrounding areas of natural beauty, may I suggest a Taxi Tour? This is the best way to see Belfast and very economical.
I used NI Black Taxi Tours and was impressed with the driver's knowledge of the city and the personal touch. I was picked up from my hotel and dropped off wherever I wanted in the city...I chose the Crown tavern!
The fee for the tour was £30, exceptional value for money. http://www.niblacktaxitours.com/

Sounds great! Thank you for the tip. I've been to Belfast and hope to get there again. Last time I was supposed to go my ship was held docked in Dublin for two days due to a massive storm in the Irish Sea. Apparently, there were 70' waves for hours; not something I'd enjoy.

I think 70 ft waves is a bit of an exaggeration  as the highest wave ever recorded off Irish coasts (and it was off Donegal in the Atlantic) was 67 ft in December 2011. I am not doubting your ship could not call here in Belfast as I do remember that occasion, but it was probably more like 70 miles per hour winds.

Hopefully the weather will be kinder for your next time :) - would definitely recommend the Titanic Visitor Centre -

One report I'd read said 70' waves. It was September 2010 and the Prinsendam was in a gale Force 12 storm for hours. At least fifty windows on the ship were shattered. People were asked to either sit down or sit on the floor where they were until the seas were calmer.

Paul, looks like I'm going back to Belfast after all! Just booked a cruise from Copenhagen to NYC in September 2014 and Belfast is one of the ports. I've made a note of your link. :)
