Westerdam - passenger removed from cruise for non compliance of muster drill

The warning was given during the announcements and if the passenger or passengers refused to attend then I agree with the consequences. Seems harsh but these drills need to be taken seriously.


I don't think they were tendered ashore, as the lifeboat drills here in the US are done before departure. I think HAL was in the right, lifeboat drills are there to remind us of what they are for; to save your life and others.

I know this is an older post but seeing I worked on cruise ships and know how important muster drills are I have no problem with someone being put off the ship for not particiating in the muster drill.
