A rare picture of a packed ss Oriana sailing out past the Sydney Opera house while it was still being built in the early 1970's !

Hi Neil do you know when this was and where she was going?
My mum said she sailed but was not sure when, now 92

Not too sure where the ' ss Oriana ' was going at the time the picture was taken but it could have been a line voyage back to the UK.
She did spend several years based in Sydney and operating cruises to the south pacific islands and the far east but did not start those until about 1979 and ended them in March 1986 when she was sold to the japanese to become a museum ship..
Sometimes a couple of cruises could be slotted in between her line voyages to and from the UK..
