P&O Australia/Europe Greatest World Cruise Itineraries Ever in 2008

Ally

Deckhand
P&O Cruises’ World Voyages program to visit all seven continents for the first time in 2008.

P&O's Aurora, Oriana and Artemis will between them visit 90 ports in 48 countries during their annual world cruises between December 2007 and April 2008, with their itineraries representing the largest world cruise program on offer by any cruise line, including 10 new ports of call and 13 visits to Australian ports.

P&O Cruises' new brochure provides details of P&O's world cruise programme and global circuits in addition to a range of line voyages between the UK and Australia, with the programme giving more choice to passengers that ever before, with journeys ranging from 34 nights to 101 nights.

Fares are available from A$9870 per person* for a 37-night cruise from Southampton to Sydney and passengers cruising longer than 35 nights will also qualify for an onboard spending credit of up to £375 per person**.

Artemis at only 45,000 tons takes advantage of her smaller size by taking passengers to locations off limits to bigger ships and she will be the first of the three liners to depart Southampton, December 17, 2007, for an 84-night circumnavigation of South America. Popular with experienced cruisers seeking more adventurous destinations, Artemis will offer scenic cruising in the waters surrounding Antarctica and infamous Cape Horn as well as visits to Chile's mightiest glaciers, a voyage up the Amazon, a transit of Panama Canal, maiden visits to Honduras and Belize and a look at one of the most notorious prisons in history – Devils Island in French Guiana.

Oriana will depart on her 101-night Grand Voyage on January 6, 2008, sailing for Egypt, Dubai, India, China, the Maldives, South Africa and Australia where she will visit Cairns, the Whitsundays, Brisbane, Sydney, Burnie, Melbourne, Adelaide, Albany and Perth in February and March 2008.

Aurora sails from Southampton the following day, January 7, 2008, for a full circumnavigation of the globe in 80 days including visits to the Caribbean, Hawaii, Tonga, Hong Kong, India, Egypt, the Mediterranean and Australia where she will call at Sydney, Brisbane, the Whitsundays and Cairns in February 2008.
