New Bulgarian 4* River ship christined

The Bulgarian shipping company Dunver Tours has chirstined their newst addition MV ARIANA last Saturday. The ships was build in Holland and is on long term charter by German tour Company Phoenix Reisen (who as you may remember bought the P&O Artemis now Artania). Phoenix is a privately held company who is collaborating on several of their ocean going ships with Monaco based V.Ships. Amazing the modern technology of the new breed of river ships. Notice NO STEERING WHEELY...the fly boys on airbus planes call it "fly-by-wire". In the middle you see a view of the river Radar....watch the ceremony on VIDEO here.

Cruisefan, thanks for the informatio and videó link, M.V. Ariana was christened in Frankfurt am Main and will be do 7 and 14 day cruises from Passau for the rest ofthe year. Her first cruise is a 14 day Passau - Black Sea - Passau. Her wheelhouse looks more like the cockpit if the new AGV.
