Norway is to introduce new regulations with regard to air polution in 2019, which will restrict the number of older cruise ships which will be able to cruise in the fjords !

It is interesting to see that the port of Torshavn, in the Faroe Islands, is building some new berths which will be 900 mtrs long and have a depth between 15 and 30 mtrs.
They have also increased the number of tugs to assist with cruise ships berthing

These new berths are expected to be in use for the 2019 cruising season !
