I totally agree that someone needs to make better use of the big screen TV.
When we were on the Liberty they had "Good Morning America" on in the morning then the same video (showing water scenes) for hours. Evening movies were very old and very "G" rated.

Perhaps they need to swap a few crewmembers with the Princess ships that have the screens....they might learn a few things from each other on how to get the best out of the system.

I thought some real music videos during the afternoon would have been better than the same fish for hours, and I certainlly wasn't expecting porn  at night but movies could have been more adult rated.

Would you say it was untrained entertainment staff in general or just a total dead loss for a cruise director, Sharon?

Afterall things like this should be part of the entertainment staff/cruise director's remit to keep everyone happy.

Well I sure hope they can put TV on that screen. I am hoping, since we'll be sailing during Superbowl next year, for a good on deck party with football. :)

Princess usually use their MUTS for Superbowl, hopefully by the time you go Mary, the Liberty crew will have figured out how to get the best out of their system.

They did have the Superbowl on the MUTS and if I remember correctly had beer specials during the game. I thought we had a very good cruise director, very funny, did some fun things, but just did not utilize the screen like it could have been used. It was still fairly new when we were there so lets hope for improvement.:)

As you say, Sharon, it is still relatively new for a Carnival ship to have a big screen fitted, hopefully by the time you are aboard again next year they will have sorted things out better and will be using it in a better way :)
