# Number of ill passengers out of total number of passenger: 86 of 1363 (6.31%)
# Number of ill crew out of total number of crew: 11 of 613 (1.79%)
# Predominant symptoms: diarrhea and vomiting
# Actions: In response to the outbreak, Celebrity Cruises and the crew aboard the ship have taken the following actions:

* increased cleaning and disinfection procedures,
* are sending daily updates to CDC and will continue to do so until the number of ill people returns to expected levels,
* sent environmental health staff to the ship for additional support,
* notified passengers aboard the ship,
* notified travel agents to tell oncoming passengers,
* will conduct additional cleaning and disinfection procedures onboard the ship and in the terminal and buses between voyages,
* collected stool specimens for analysis.

# VSP staff will board the ship in Tampa on April 11th to conduct a targeted environmental investigation and make recommendations.

I am definatley reminded now how thankful I am for my current job which does not at this point include this task.......

Does anything pay for your lost vacation? I mean...you got to go so I assume insurance wont cover the loss by illness during cruise..and I dont know if the line gives you a comeback coupon or anything....
