VOD are offering no single supplements on certain cabins for bookings on the mv Discovery ' Passage to India ' voyage departing on the 29th November 2009 from Barcelona.

This cruise is a 24 night voyage through the Suez Canal and Red Sea to Mumbai.

A single cabin on Bali deck is priced, on their website, from £2,495.00p which includes flights

Discounts of up to 60% are also available on some two berth inside cabins for this voyage.

I had an E Mail on this this morning ,offering a single at about £1700 ,if I booked today.

Hi Swan

Although the ship has recently had some refurbishing work done it looks as if they are still having trouble selling her after all the engine problems last year.

At 37 years old, apart from the Classic International Cruises fleet, she will soon be one of the oldest cruise ships making regular year round cruises with considerably less facilities than you have on the newer ships.
