Smile Discovery World outlines ’07 routes

Discovery World Cruises released a 2007 roster including destinations in Antarctica, South America, the South Pacific, Europe and Scandinavia.

The 650-passenger Discovery will return to the Galápagos Islands on varied cruisetours, including a 30-night combination program that adds Antarctica and a 24-night itinerary with the South Pacific and the Panama Canal.

Discovery’s fourth consecutive year in Antarctica provides several cruisetour choices of varied lengths and a hotel stay in Buenos Aires. In the South Pacific, two 16-night cruises follow in the wake of the Bounty calling at Robinson Crusoe, Easter and Pitcairn islands, as well as Bora Bora and Tahiti. A two-night hotel stay in the Chilean capital of Santiago is included.

In May, a voyage from Nassau to Harwich positions Discovery in Europe for the summer, with 26 programs throughout the Mediterranean, Scandinavia, Russia and the Middle East. Ten- to 33-night itineraries will call at ports as diverse as Benghazi, Libya; Narsarsuaq, Greenland; Reykjavik, Iceland; Koper, Zadar and Hvar, Croatia; Beirut, Lebanon; Batumi, Georgia and Tartous, Syria.
