Default Still In Port !

Hi

I do not know if there is another engine problem but the mv Discovery remains in Oslo at 21.10 hrs local time.

According to the V of D brochure she should have sailed at 19.00 hrs.

Default Oslo Update

Hi

The mv Discovery sailed at 22.00 hrs, from Oslo this evening local time.

This was three hours later than the sailing time in their brochure which leads one to think that she might be having more engine problems.

Or there could have been a shortage of elastic bands in Norway !

She was cruising at 13.6 knots after clearing the port.

She is scheduled to arrive at Korsor, Denmark, at 07.00 hrs on the 13th August.

I think they have resorted to making the itineraries up as they go along, Neil

Default Itinerary

Hi

It might be that there was a shortage of elastic on board and they tried to use spaghetti !

I have been having a look at the ferry schedules between Copenhagen and Oslo and they only take about 16 hours for the trip.

Depending on how far Korsor is from Copenhagen it would appear that the mv Discovery may have a slow schedule between Oslo and Korsor with over 30 hours allowed for the trip.

Keeping passengers on the ship is of course a good revenue raiser for the bars and shops !

Default Engine Problems !

Hi

I thought they might have fitted some bicycle seats above the propeller shaft so they can sit across it and pedal away !
