Aldo Zilli has become the latest celebrity chef to join a cruise line.

He is to open a Zilli's restaurant on board the ship Thomson Celebration this autumn.

This is the latest development in a partnership with Thomson following his involvement in in-flight meals on Thomsonfly aircraft.

Zilli's will open on October 19, before the ship sails from Majorca to the Red Sea to begin the winter season.

Based on Italian-inspired ingredients, the existing restaurant will be revamped to reflect his style and the onboard chefs will be trained to cook the "Zilli way".

Not that I have ever used the premium restaurant, as food in the main dining room is great and I aint paying again. ( Miser me )
