SuperStar Virgo installs climbing walls
Singapore-based SuperStar Virgo now offers two climbing attractions, one for adults and one for children ages 5-12.
For adults, the Treadwall rotating climbing wall resembles a vertical treadmill with hand holds and foot holds. No straps or other equipment is required. The angled device rests on the floor and stops and goes according to the climber’s pace. Climbers adjust the angle by turning a knob.
Climbers are never more than one or two feet off the floor and can step down when finished. For aerobic training, a Polar heart-rate monitor is integrated into the Treadwall timer unit.
SuperStar Virgo’s climbing attraction for children is the colorful Traversing Bouldering Wall, also with foot holds and hand holds to enable climbing a short distance above the floor.
