Paximej (M) Sdn Bhd will launching a fitness programme called Waves of Wellness and Adventure Community on Nov 19 on board cruise ship Superstar Virgo.

The aim of the programme is to instil a sense of physical well-being among Malaysians and even foreigners who feel the need to exercise. The fitness experts will tailor the programme for each individual according to their needs.

The participants will be taken from Port Klang to Phuket, Langkawi and back with a range of programmes lined up under the package along the way.

To mark the launch, Paximej will also be bringing along celebrities such Juliana Ibrahim (compere for So You Think You Can Dance), Adam (of Akademi Fantasia 2), Dafi (Akademi Fantasia 5) and Shahrizal Jaafar to cheer the participants on.

Paximej, founded by managing director Ahmad Kamil Mohamed, aims to make their Adventure Community to be a one-stop centre for all adventure sport activities in Malaysia and hopefully in the region.

"We will work with operators (of adventure sport companies)," said Kamil, who formed the company in 1994.

"Our vision is to be the leading one-stop centre and promoter of all adventure sports and recreational activities in the region," he added.

The sports being promoted range from water sports to mountain climbing and para-gliding.
