Smile Libra - ship features in new Bollywood action thriller movie

Shah Rukh Khan shoots on a cruise liner
03rd May 2007 20.54 IST
By ApunKaChoice

The superstar plays a Navy officer in filmmaker Ravi Chopra’s next movie ‘Bhootnath’.

Even though Shah Rukh Khan has been busy with his home production Om Shanti Om for quite a while now, he was gracious enough to take out time to shoot for Bhootnath in between.

Since SRK plays a Navy officer in the film, certain sequences needed to be shot on a ship. And recently, when the luxury cruise liner Superstar Libra docked at Mumbai, SRK gave a day for the shooting of Chopra’s film aboard the ship.

On the day of the shoot, Shah Rukh was visibly overwhelmed by the huge size of the cruise liner. He shot his scenes with co-star Juhi Chawla at a superfast speed and spent the remaining time exploring the gigantic ship.

SRK also met a number of his fans and admirers on the liner and signed autographs for them.

‘Bhootnath’ also has Amitabh Bachchan in the role of a ghost. SRK and Big B do not have any scenes together in the film.
