Brett Dudley, md of ecruising.travel, has released a 15-night package from Sydney that will take passengers across the Nullarbor Plain by rail, with the return journey from Fremantle in SuperStar Gemini.

The ‘adventure that spans a continent’ departs Sydney on November 24 aboard the Indian Pacific which passes through three states and travels along the world’s longest straight stretch of railway track.

The train arrives in Perth on November 27, where passengers will spend three nights before joining SuperStar Gemini on November 30 for the nine-night voyage to Sydney via Esperance, Adelaide and Melbourne.

Prices for the tour, which includes a sightseeing trip along Perth’s Swan River, vary according to the grade of accommodation aboard the ship and train. The Indian Pacific has two classes -- Gold Kangaroo (first), which includes all meals in the restaurant car, and Red Kangaroo. Gold Kangaroo passengers have a choice of deluxe, single or twin sleeper cabins and Red Kangaroo passengers may choose sleeper cabins or day/nighter seats.
