At first glance I thought Cliff had written

she sailed from Vancouver after "disemboweling the maddening crowd "

Second thought..the staff probably would have agreed.

Well he could be there then but in the white building behind. If my memory serves me correctly that should be the Officers Ward Room and the dinning room was on the bottom floor. I spent many a night in that building on Tempory Duty. Being a Airforce type in a Navy Ward Room did pose it's own problem's.

When one says they spend many a night in a ward room, somehow pictures come to mind of padded cells, Nurse Rachet and drugs.

Sorry, WB and Phil. That wasn't me you saw. I was busy painting this
information on the city streets to show everyone where Summit
is. Yes, Dani - the parking lot at the Centennial terminal did look
a bit red yesterday morning.

Spent a night in the base hospital there to after popping both ear drums flying. One should never fly with a head cold. I did and we pilots think we can do it till we find out otherwise.

Phil,

Two things that mayke flying dangerous =

Head cold/Sinus problems = Broken eardrums

Toothache = need root canal

Flew one time and had severe, severe pain. Found out when I got back home I needed a root canal on a tooth.

Then there are those of us that get along fine unless we de-pressure too quickly on landing...then comes the "knife in the head feeling ".

I love to fly but always am relieved if I don't get a headache from pressure problems.

I know Keith, I know...a few drinks and I will not care....

Default Drydock views

Here is a link to my pictures of Summit in drydock in Victoria. Some
interesting views of the troublesome Mermaid pods and also the bow
thrusters.

You will probably have to register with HP as a user but I am pretty sure they
are safe.
