Star Cruises entertainment lineup for the Chinese New Year celebrations on Feb 18th

Star Cruises raised the curtain on entertainment, themes and special activities including events for the Chinese or Lunar New Year, which starts Feb. 18.

On Singapore-based SuperStar Virgo, Taiwanese superstar entertainers will perform and appear at meet-the-fans sessions. A couples program includes learning massage techniques, parties and games, and couples’ fitness classes. Also scheduled are Spring Festival activities, with Chinese arts and crafts classes, New Year menus, ‘ang pow’ bingo sessions and appearances by the God of Prosperity.

Singapore-based SuperStar Gemini will offer talks and tips by Dr. Goh Kong Chuan, a sports medicine specialist. Theme days include Asia, with special cuisine and classes in Asian dance and culture; romance, with activities for couples; and ‘Wild Wild West’ with a poolside barbecue party.

From Mumbai, SuperStar Libra is offering themes such as Chinatown, with family activities and games like ‘Best Kung Fu Master,’ and entertainment by Chinese acrobats. For Valentine’s Day, the ship will host Indian celebrity couple Tanaaz Currim and Bhaktyaar. DJ Akhtar will be aboard on Feb. 9 and 10 and March 2 and 3.

From Hong Kong, Star Pisces will stage singing star Mohan from Feb. 18 until the end of March. Teen celebrity Lin Jia Yong will also appear, and additional Lunar New Year festivities are planned.
