Colin Veitch resigns from Star Cruises board
Quote:
Colin Veitch resigned as an executive director of Star Cruises Ltd. and is to receive the sum of $10m in a non-competition agreement.
Veitch resigned as an executive director in order to concentrate on his role as president and chief executive officer of NCL Corp., Star Cruises said in a filing.
The filing added that Veitch ‘confirmed that he has no disagreement with the board and there is no matter in relation to his resignation that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the company.’
The non-compete agreement is for a term of five years, commencing from June 19.
