Star Clippers is promoting a 13-night cruise tour between Bangkok and Phuket, Thailand, during the 2007-08 Far East season. The package combines a seven-night cruise with a four-night pre-cruise tour of Bangkok and a two-night post-cruise tour of Phuket.

The ‘Senses of Siam’ program is offered on eight departure dates from November through February. The pre- and post-cruise tours are paired with a roundtrip Phuket voyage aboard the 170-passenger Star Clipper.

Customers can select from two cruise routes. The northern route calls at Surin Islands, Similan Islands, Hin Daeng/Ko Rok Nok, Phi Phi Islands and Phang Nga/Ko Khai Nok, Thailand, and Langawi, Malaysia. The southern route visits Batong Group, Ko Lipe, Ko Khai Nok, Phang Nga/Ko Hong and Simian Islands, Thailand, and Penang, Malaysia.

The package also includes air from Los Angeles or San Francisco to Bangkok and the return flight from Phuket. Reduced air add-on rates are available from select cities.

Rates for the Jan. 14 and Jan. 21 cruise tours start at $2,750 and go up to $3,670. Rates for the remaining six departures start at $2,850 and go up to $3,770. Port charges, an air tax and fuel surcharge are additional.

These rates are available only to residents of the United States and Latin America.
