He should be in Leith by now, he said he was going to go and see the old Royal yacht before boarding Braemar.

I hope the weather improves in Norway by the time that Richard arrives in a couple days time......Bergen is looking distinctly soggy today

 Summary Leith - weather OK - HMY Britania great - leaving party great fun  Kirkwall - weather good - whiskey V. expensive Bergen - weather FABULOUS  (sunburn seen at dinner) - excursion greatSea day - weather OK - entertainment FAB Newcastle - slow but not too grim but all sad to leave Table companions - charming (mostly) + 1 v pretty lady (I avoided drooling - I hope  )All in all - a great cruise but now I can get to bed before 2 am RichardM Last edited by richardm : 08-08-2007 at 08:33 PM. |
