Apparently Splendour of the Seas passengers had a bad experience in Lisbon when embarking on the Lisbon to Venice cruise.

The ship arrived in Lisbon approx 5 hours behind schedule due to a stabiliser problem. Passengers who were to embark were taken by bus to a nearby hotel for refreshments and check-in. However this did not go according to plan and confusion ensued.

The passengers finally boarded Splendour at 7.30pm and the ship left Lisbon a couple hours late.

The muster drill was done the next morning and many passengers had not had breakfast beforehand so things got a bit hectic in the Windjammer as one half was open for breakfast only and the other side was colsed so that lunch could be prepared.

No other problems were reported over the rest of the cruise.
