BMI teams up with RCI to offer flight from Manchester/Venice for Splendour sailings

BMI is launching a charter flight to Venice from Manchester Airport.

The flight will connect to the Royal Caribbean International cruise ship Splendour of the Seas, which will be in the Italian city.

Tim McDermott, Manchester Airport’s director of aviation development, said: “We are really pleased to announce this new service to the Greek Islands, in partnership with Royal Caribbean International. Passengers are increasingly adventurous with their choice of holiday, and we're thrilled to have this exclusive BMI direct flight now at Manchester Airport making getting onboard Splendour of the Seas really easy.

“We already offer flights to more destinations than any other UK airport and this proves we are continuing to add new and exciting routes to our portfolio all the time.”

Flights depart every Saturday morning between May and late October 2008.
