Silversea beefs up sales efforts in Canada
Starting July 1, travel agents throughout Canada will have direct access to Silversea Cruises’ reservations and sales teams. Silversea said the move will eliminate the need for agencies to work with a wholesaler, and enhance the company's ability to provide sales support and product training to its Canadian retail partners.
‘Canada is a growing market for us and we want to do everything possible to support this growth and provide a highly personalized relationship with each of our travel partners,’ said Marilyn Conroy, Silversea’s svp sales and marketing for the Americas.
Dedicated regional sales directors and account executives are in place. Karen Rich Motis is regional sales director for Western Canada, assisted by account exec Jerry Joliff. Covering Central Canada is sales director Maggie Moran-Holyn, backed by account exec Joan Nehls. Norma Spadola is sales director for Eastern Canada, assisted by account exec Deborah Rozak.
Silversea plans a series of training seminars and presentations for Candian agents this fall. Dates and locations will be announced in the coming weeks.
