Seabourn offers more luxury at more ports
Quote:
Luxury cruise line, The Yachts of Seabourn, has expanded its range of luxury cruises with the release of its new 2009-2010 program.
New ports now on offer on its three intimate all-suite ships - Seabourn Pride, Spirit and Legend - include St. Raphael, Bandol and Antibes on the French Riviera, Opatija and Split in Croatia, Brindisi, Bari, and Trieste in Italy and Lundy Island and the Isles of Scilly in the United Kingdom.
In all, the 2009-2010 program will visit a total of 220 ports in 66 countries thanks to the mid-2009 debut of the new Seabourn Odyssey, which has significantly increased itinerary options for the cruise line.
The Yachts of Seabourn President and CEO, Pamela Conover, said 2009 would be the most exciting year since the company’s founding.
"Seabourn Odyssey is the first new ultra-luxury ship to debut in six years,” Ms Conover said.
“Her arrival will expand our ability to offer travellers a wider range of destinations than ever before, from big cities whose names appear in bold type on the map, to smaller, more unusual places that we have discovered in between, places we call 'Seabourn Secrets'," Ms Conover said.
Highlights of the new program include:
* 7-day itineraries sailing between Civitavecchia (for Rome) and Venice onboard the Seabourn Spirit
* 11-day voyages onboard Seabourn Pride from Dover to Copenhagen encompassing some unusual British Isles (Lundy Island and the Isles of Scilly) as well as France, Belgium and an overnight in Amsterdam
* a 74-day circumnavigation of South America in January of 2010 onboard the Seabourn Spirit
Australians interested in a stylish sea escape on The Yachts of Seabourn can enjoy Early Booking Savings of up to 50% off brochure fares, plus additional savings for combining two or more consecutive cruises.
Fares on the Florence and Italian Yacht Havens seven-day Seabourn Legend cruise, visiting Monte Carlo, the highlights of Italy and France and departing September 26, 2009, are available from US$4258* per person twin share.
The same cruise is also available as one of Seabourn’s popular Sail & Stay packages in 2009, with two nights’ accommodation in both Monte Carlo and Rome and the seven-night cruise priced from US$6596* per person twin share, departing September 24, 2009.
