Radiance o/t Seas - South America 2009/2010 itineraries cancelled
Thanks to my TA, Phil, for a tip-off regarding Radiance of the Seas. Her itineraries to South America, including the Rio carnival, in 2009/2010 have been cancelled.
Her entire season starting from December 6th, 2009 has been shelved. No word yet as to where she is to be redeployed or if another ship will be replacing her on these itineraries.
Should anything be confirmed by RCI, it will be posted here.

It seems that Radiance's 2009 Mexican Riviera season that normally follows her Alaska season has also been dropped, which makes me wonder if she will do a Panama Canal repositioning to Fort Lauderdale at the end of Alaska 2009, and then do a couple of caribbean itineraries before repositioning to Barcelona or Malaga to replace Brilliance which is off to Dubai from January thru April 2010.
Both ships are of the same class, so it is possible (I guess) that Radiance could easily replace Brillance in the Med/Canaries in early 2010.
