Azamara Quest ended its Oct. 26 cruise in Tampa this morning instead of Miami due to Tropical Storm Noel, which also caused an additional port change for a Carnival Cruise Lines ship.

Azamara Cruises provided disembarking passengers with free motorcoach transportation from Tampa back to South Florida. Passengers embarking for today’s cruise were directed to proceed to the Port of Miami for check-in and are being bussed to Tampa for embarkation. Azamara Quest is scheduled to sail at 10 tonight.

The ship will substitute a stop in Grand Cayman for its scheduled call in Port Antonio (Jamaica) on Thursday.

In other itinerary changes, the Jacksonville-based Carnival Celebration will call at Freeport on Thursday instead of Nassau.

Noel has passed over Cuba and is forecast to move across the central and northwestern Bahamas, where a tropical storm warning remains in effect.
