Default Accessibillity on QM2

I hope I post this in the right section.

Next year I'm planning a trans-atlantic cruise with Queen Mary 2. I wonder if anyone here has any experience with an electric wheelchair (and a portable hoist) on that ship.

I will need some space in the cabin, both in the bath-room and alongside the bed. Unfortunally I can't find any pictures or plans over the accessible cabins on the net. On the deck plan it seems like theese cabins are a bit larger, but that won't say much.

I also need space between the bed and the floor, i.e. it need to stand on legs and not a plinth.

I furher wonder how the accessibillity is in public areas. I think I saw a lift to one of the pools in a picture, is this right? How about changing rooms nearby?

I hope somebody can help me!

Welcome to the family Jessma

I have moved your thread into our QM2 section as its more likely to be found by those who have travelled aboard her and they maybe able to give you the answers that you require.

We have a member, cruisecouple, who have recently cruised on her, their review is here and although it may not answer your questions, it will give you an idea of what the ship is like.
