Cunard's Queen Mary 2 Hosts Martha Graham Dance Company
Quote:
Modern dance from America's oldest and most celebrated contemporary dance company graced the stage of the Royal Court Theatre aboard Cunard's Queen Mary 2 today while at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. The theme of the day was "Celebrating Excellence in Education" and included a special performance presented by select artists from the Martha Graham Dance Company, Martha Graham Ensemble and Teens@Graham. Guests of the intimate event included donors and members of the dance company's Board of Directors.
Cunard Line hosted the event and luncheon to support the mission of the famed dance company - preserving and perpetuating the extraordinary artistic legacy of Martha Graham.
