The New York police, this morning, spotted three men in the East River near the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal - and too close to the security zone surrounding Queen Mary 2 which is in port today.

The suspicion was raised when two of the men were seen in an inflatable boat, and the third seen in what was a homemade submersible vessel.

The police took the three men into custody.The Dept of Homeland Security have confirmed that there was no connection to terrorism. The three have only been charged with violating the security zone around QM2.
