Question Alcohol on board...expensive?

Are the bar prices more expensive onboard ship than on land?

Do you feel pressured to buy drinks on board or do you have to go to the bar or call a waiter for a drink everytime?

Are the range of drinks available as good as the bar(s) in your home town?

Or do you not drink anyway?

Didn't buy many drinks on board, the occasional bottle of wine at dinner. What we did do last November was order bottle of vodka via room service so we could pour our own in the cabin. But with all the new rules abounding wonder if we will be able to do that in the future. Remember now did buy a drink when on Princess Cays, not much to choose from didn't fancy the cocktail in a coconut so had a can of lager, thought it was expensive until he bought the can to me, never seen a can that size before huge.

I like treating myself to a nice bottle during the meals but i do try and keep it resonable. Alcohol is a budget of it's own i think. I couldn't sit through a nice piece of meat without a good drop of red wine or through a seafood dish without a good drop of white during a cruise

We don't drink a lot of alcohol ( me none at all ). The drinks were OK in price - like an upmarket place but we felt the wine was expensive. We were never pressurised to buy drinks but were always served quickly if we indicated we wanted something.
