NCLA Pride of America experiencing more crew troubles

It seems that the problems experienced with US crews aboard POAm when she first started service have started again. This time it is reported to have started a flurry of lawsuits against NCLA.

Main problems were cabin cleanliness, broken/unuseable cabin fridges & other fitments, poorly organised buffet and other previously experienced problems.

Personally, I am of the opinion that perhaps its time that the NCLA fleet were reflagged as international with international crews as its becoming obvious that despite having relatively new ships (including the newest POH), and higher wages than the international crews, the US crews just can't cut it in the work department. It's as if they are convincing themselves that working on a cruise ship is romantic and easy work...when it most definately is not.

Its sad that NCLA is putting a strain on NCL. I hope this latest problem with POAm can be sorted quickly.

This flurry of lawsuits has now spread to the latest addition of the NCLA fleet Pride of Hawai'i.

Various media reports and other cruise discussion forums are showing an increasing number of service related complaints on the NCLA fleet. Everything from dust bunnies to sullen crew and broken equipment/fittings in cabins.

This doesn't bode well for NCLA as up until now, the complaints have not reached the lawyer stage and the management of NCLA had thought they had finally ironed out the problems.
