Peter Deilmann's new Ocean Cruising brochure for 2008/2009, Grand Hotel Voyages, offers a host of benefits for the coming tenth anniversary year of MS Deutschland, the line's five star superior flagship.
The brochure features 'cruise-only' fares for the very first time to offer flexibility and value for the growing number of guests who wish to tailor-make their travel arrangements before and after their cruise.
However, the company still offers guests the option to book flights, trains and transfer connections at an additional charge. Cruise-only fares include accommodation, meals and entertainment on board, as well as port taxes.
Deutschland's 2008/2009 programme features a welcome return after a two years to South Africa, the Seychelles, the Indian Ocean (including Mombassa and Zanzibar), Reunion Island and Mauritius. There are 27 different itineraries which include an incredible 31 different ports with an overnight stay of between one and three nights.
Itineraries range from sampler cruises of two nights’ duration to twenty night itineraries, such as the Memories of Lawrence of Arabia itinerary that visits destinations as diverse as Crete, Egypt, Oman and Jordan. Fares start at £365 per person for the Hamburg sampler cruise and range up to £14,385 for the 19-night Spitzbergen and Iceland cruise.
Deutschland also offers exciting themed cruises and Peter Deilmann has added a two hiking cruises in Britain and Ireland and Scandinavia respectively to the existing portfolio of golf, gardens, horse riding, cycling and wellness themed cruises.
The new brochure has a new format making it more user-friendly. It’s smaller, landscape (in contrast to most other cruise brochures) and features the fares and itineraries on the same pages for ease.
