Smile Peter Deilmann: variations on a theme

Peter Deilmann is introducing a new range of themed river cruises for 2007. Following the success of its classical music cruises along the Danube, the company has decided to offer choices such as golf, gardens, cycling, hiking and wellness, reports sales and marketing manager, Desri Omer.

The themed activities, available between March and October 2007, are offered on selected cruises as an optional add-on, so couples can choose to do different things on the same day.

Passengers aboard Cezanne and Princesse de Provence will be able to hike along paths in Provence, Burgundy and Normandy or cycle through France, Austria and Germany on guided cycling tours with an experienced host. Green-fingered guests will be able to enjoy escorted visits to gardens and onboard talks by professional gardeners on selected cruises along the rivers Seine, Rhone, Danube, Elbe and Rhine. A wellness consultant will join selected cruises along the Danube (Munich roundtrip) and the Rhine (Amsterdam roundtrip), to provide presentations and consultation sessions for passengers.

As in previous years, classical music cruises along the Danube will be offered on-board Mozart. Two have been scheduled for 2007, departing Munich in April and October.
