Culinary themed river cruises on Mozart this Autumn
Peter Deilmann Cruises is introducing cuisine themes featuring Michelin-star chefs aboard the 200-passenger Mozart on Danube River cruises later this summer and in the fall.
The cuisine themes are on a trio of week-long Mozart voyages roundtrip from Passau, Germany, to Austria, Hungary and Slovakia. The Sept. 3 cruise will carry Stephan Mattersberger, whose starred restaurants include Alpenrose Post, Esplanade Berlin and two French specialty restaurants. Alfons Schuhbeck, a Michelin-star recipient and author of 20 cookbooks, will be guest chef for one day.
Master chef Christian Müller of the Munich Kempinski Airport Hotel restaurant and Deilmann’s Deutschland will present a cooking show on the July 30 Mozart cruise. A master chef from Wiesbaden’s Ente (Duck) restaurant, Michelin star-rated for 27 years, will create the gala dinner menu and present a cooking show on the Oct. 29 sailing.
