If you go and see the cliff divers at Acapulco I would advise you to take your binoculars. When the coach stops you are directed into a hotel, climb down many steps to a balcony where you sit at tables overlooking the cliff divers. At the end of the diving show Mexican Dancers then perform in a dance area, to entertain you till the divers return to the hotel, naturally with a gratuity bag, On entering the hotel there are cans of drink. I can’t remember whether the drinks were alcoholic or not.
People that make there own way to see the divers there is a viewing platform which you can see on my enclosed photos which is closer to the divers. We enjoyed the show, and were glad we were told to take our binoculars. The ride around the bay is quite spectacular, we also visit the International golf course, which was a surprise. Norman

Norman do you think there would be a good view of the divers from an anchored boat in the bay?

The divers escape boat is there to stop intruders from the sea.

The tour seems to say that you will anchor off shore so maybe it's further out than the escape boat.
Well managed to wiggle my off duty last night, now have a 24 day stretch off so can have days pre and post cruise.
