We see our Nurse Practioner on Monday re vaccinations. P&O indicated that we might need to have some. They said Yellow Fever is not a concern.

I have just returned from my Nurse Practitioner. It was recommended that I have a hepatitis and Typhoid injection (which I have just had). It is also recommended taking malaria tablets. because we are visiting Colombia We have been prescribed a stronger dose which is only available on private prescription. We need 24 tablets (a pack of 12 on prescription is £25, therefore the total is £100 for the two of us). As for Yellow Fever it is recommended but not required. As it is a live vaccine we need to get it from a Private Travel Clinic. I will ring them tomorrow to find out what they have to say.

I can never remember what I have had in the past. Will have to have a search through. Not sure I know how long they last either. last ones I had must have been back in 97, know I'll need the malaria tabs.
Think I will make enquires re appointment for practice nurse tomorrow when I visit the hospital as GP surgery only next door now thats what you call handy.
