The Black Sea is one place I would like to go, Jean. What is your itinerary aboard Artemis?

The cruise must be fairly close to when she does her winter migration to the Caribbean/Mexico, some of us here are on her Panama Canal cruises...Middy & John are on the early November westbound and I am on the December eastbound

Hi Ally.

Itinerary as follows:- Palma, Athens, Istanbul, Sochi, Yalta, Odessa, Constanta, Nessebar, Kusadasi, Santorini, Cadiz

Any info on price of P&O shore trips? They are probably mega expensive. I have found a good one in Istanbul and I think we will do our own thing in Yalta, Nessebar. Constanta looks like a dump from other reviews I've read. Santorini I think we will do ourselves. I would like to ride a donkey up the hill, but then I probably won't like the way they are treated :-(

The last time I went with P&O, the original Oriana and the Canberra was still in service, so I can't help you in respect to shorex costs thesedays.

The itinerary is a nice one, very balanced and you'll get to experience the different cultures too along the way (something I always enjoy doing, not keen on ports built for tourists)

Lioness Jean -

Have you not been reading the 'Daily Express' and their campaign to stop the use of donkeys in Santorini? Maybe the cable car would be a better mode of transport?

I hadn't read that - and thank you. I will be taking the cable car. How sad. What a shame. Jean

The Black Sea seems like a great place to visit! Still 288 days to go, but I hope you have a good one!
