The Black Sea is one place I would like to go, Jean. What is your itinerary aboard Artemis?
The cruise must be fairly close to when she does her winter migration to the Caribbean/Mexico, some of us here are on her Panama Canal cruises...Middy & John are on the early November westbound and I am on the December eastbound

Any info on price of P&O shore trips? They are probably mega expensive. I have found a good one in Istanbul and I think we will do our own thing in Yalta, Nessebar. Constanta looks like a dump from other reviews I've read. Santorini I think we will do ourselves. I would like to ride a donkey up the hill, but then I probably won't like the way they are treated :-(

The last time I went with P&O, the original Oriana and the Canberra was still in service, so I can't help you in respect to shorex costs thesedays.
The itinerary is a nice one, very balanced and you'll get to experience the different cultures too along the way (something I always enjoy doing, not keen on ports built for tourists)

Have you not been reading the 'Daily Express' and their campaign to stop the use of donkeys in Santorini? Maybe the cable car would be a better mode of transport?
