Lightbulb P&O Cruises announces biggest holiday giveaway

20 November 2007 - P&O Cruises

Free holidays on Britain’s favourite cruise line. That’s what’s on offer from P&O Cruises in a search for suitable people to become an Inspector Cruiso.

P&O Cruises is looking for twelve families, couples, or friends who have never taken a P&O Cruises holiday but who are willing to try it out, to come on board and experience a holiday on one of the six different ships in the fleet. Winners will also receive credit to spend whilst on board to ensure they get the chance to try out everything that the ship has to offer.

The company, which operates ships for the British market, including Ventura the largest superliner ever built for Britain, is offering these holidays in exchange for holidaymakers thoughts and opinions about the P&O Cruises holiday experience, from check-in to disembarkation.

P&O Cruises managing director, Nigel Esdale, said:

“Despite the explosion in the popularity of cruise holidays and people becoming more aware of what is on offer in the market, there are still people that think cruising is not for them.

“Cruise ships may come in outwardly similar packaging but the contents are very different. P&O Cruises offers a depth of experience and a range of ships to suit the needs and wants of holidaymakers. Active family holiday, romantic trip for two, adventurous holiday alone or relaxing with friends there really is a cruise ship in the P&O Cruises fleet for everyone.

“We are so confident of this, we are prepared to put our money where our mouth is and offer free holidays to people who haven’t cruised with us before. We are looking for Inspector Cruiso to try a P&O Cruises holiday and then just tell us what they like or didn’t like and why. Winners will have the chance to tell it how it is and their views will be posted on the P&O Cruises website. We want to ensure that we get the real views of new comers and transparency in the information received. It’s that simple.”

Volunteers who believe they fit the bill should visit P&O Cruises | Inspector Cruiso – Enjoy a free holiday with Britain’s favourite cruise line where they can find out more about the requirements of being an Inspector Cruiso, about the ships and which one they think might be right for them.

There are six uniquely different ships for ‘wannabe’ Inspector Cruisos to choose from all offering the same exceptional standards of service – but a different holiday experience.

· Ventura, the largest superliner ever designed and built for the UK, family friendly, innovative and contemporary.

· Oceana, informal, fun loving, sociable and family friendly.

· Arcadia, chic and modern, indulgent, stylish and child free.

· Aurora, a world-class superliner, is cosmopolitan, refined and family friendly.

· Oriana, stylish and elegant and very family-friendly.

· Artemis intimate, traditional and child-free.

To apply for you and your family to become an Inspector Cruiso, simply log on to P&O Cruises | Inspector Cruiso – Enjoy a free holiday with Britain’s favourite cruise line and fill in the brief questionnaire. Closing date for entries is 1st February 2008. Winners will be notified by 29th February 2008.

Ends

Onboard credit given will be £300 per family or £150 per couple.
