P&O Cruises has launched a new line up of shows on board its contemporary Oceana to appeal to a younger demographic.
It has replaced traditional cabaret steps aside to make way for Bodyrockers, a pop show featuring recent releases such as The Black Eyed Peas 'Pump It', The Pussycat Dolls "Don't Cha" and James Blunt's "You're Beautiful".
P&O Cruises head of brand marketing Philip Price said:
"Oceana is glamorous, contemporary and great fun. Her positioning within our fleet of five ships makes her attractive to people who are new to cruising and she is also perfect for families.
"These passengers are younger and demand is strong, so we're looking beyond traditional cruise ship entertainment by introducing shows like Bodyrockers."
In addition to Bodyrockers, Oceana is also launching the new show Strictly Dancing in response to the dance craze currently sweeping the UK and
WWW.Westend, a concert of hits from shows, including Billy Elliot, Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables.
The new shows start on Oceana's 14-night Spirit of the Mediterranean cruise, which departs Southampton on September 30.
