Hi all

Just got back from Artemis - 25 nights to Istanbul and the Black Sea. It was wonderful, although we did miss a couple of tender ports, Sochi and Nessebar - both too much swell for the tenders and looking at the frailness of a lot of folk, I wasn't surprised. Istanbul was wonderful and my other favourite was Santorini.

I enjoyed the ship and we left in a Force 9 and hardly felt it. She is a real liner and not a great big flat bottomed cruise ship. Interestingly, coming back up through Biscay we had a Northerly Force 5 on the bow and it slowed us down just a bit, but Arcadia, much bigger, was having a tough time of it and we beat her into Southampton by 2 hours!

Looking forward now to my next one next October, also on Artemis and then think we will try Oriana.
