New itineraries and destinations for Orion
Orion has released two new signature itineraries to the North and South islands of New Zealand. With a trademark Orion twist, these Voyages of Discovery will take passengers to remote destinations rarely accessed by conventional tourism.
Departing from Brisbane for Wellington on October 30, 2008, the 14-night voyage includes World Heritage listed Lord Howe Island and Balls Pyramid, the beautiful Bay of Islands, Hauraki Gulf, Tauranga and the actively-volcanic White Island.
Departing from Milford Sound on November 19, 2008, the 11-night New Zealand South Island Exploration will visit Port Pegasus, Half Moon Bay, Dunedin, Akaroa, Kaikoura and Marlborough Sounds before arriving in Wellington.
