Three ships, six new itineraries, overnights in port and several maiden calls are featured in Oceania Cruises’ 2008 Europe schedule. The programs are being introduced with free air from North America and two-for-one cruise fares, bringing the starting price to as low as $1,699 per person.

Sailing to the Western Mediterranean, the Greek Isles and Scandinavia, Regatta, Insignia and Nautica will visit more than 70 destinations throughout Europe. A new 14-day Barcelona to Istanbul itinerary includes Egypt and Israel.

New ports for Oceania are Haifa, Israel; Pula, Croatia; Alghero (Sardinia), Italy; Tangier, Morocco; and, on Regatta’s repositioning cruise from Barcelona to Miami in November 2008, Hamilton, Bermuda. The line will visit intimate destinations such as Monte Carlo, Saint Tropez, Sarande, Portofino and Kotor, in addition to major cities like St. Petersburg, Istanbul, Copenhagen and Rome.

Cruises range from 10 to 16 days. On average, 10- and 12-day itineraries include no more than one sea day and 14-day itineraries, no more than two.
