Smile Longer cruises spice Oceania's 08/09 winter

Bookings open on Wednesday for Oceania Cruises’ 2008/09 winter sailings to Asia, Australia, the Caribbean and South America with an offer of free roundtrip economy air and two-for-one cruise fares through Dec. 31, 2007.

The program features more overnight stays, new ports and a wider array of longer voyages. Included are three new 19-day cruises between Rio de Janeiro and Valparaíso and a 32-day Rome to Singapore voyage.

New ports include Myanmar’s Yangon and Mexico’s Puerto Chiapas and Huatulco. Among the destinations visited on overnight calls are Rio de Janeiro, Hong Kong, Sydney, Buenos Aires, Luxor, Dubai, Yangon, Bali, Bangkok, Hanoi, Saigon, Itajaí, São Paulo, Kyoto and Taipei.

Nautica returns to Australia and Asia with eight sailings ranging from 15 to 35 days. Insignia offers varied voyages to Brazil and the Chilean Fjords of 12 to 19 days. Among Regatta’s routes is a perenially fast-selling 26-day Caribbean/Amazon adventure roundtrip from Miami.
