Britain's newsest cruiser, Ocean Village Two is due to arrive alongside the Mayflower Terminal in Southampton's Western Docks at about mid-day tomorrow.

Congestion in the port of Bremerhaven, where the vessel underwent a wide-ranging refit, and tidal restrictions meant that Ocean Village Two's departure from the German shipyard was later than was first scheduled.

A spokesman for Ocean Village said the ship, designed for passengers looking for a casual and more informal cruise, is now on its way to Southampton.

Ocean Village Two will be officially named next Tuesday when supermodel, Jodie Kidd together with her sister, Jemma Kidd, the celebrity make-up artists, will break the traditional bottle of champagne over the ship's decks.

Ocean Village Two will be based in Palma, Majorca throughout the summer where she undertake a programme of Mediterranean voyages.
