Norwegian Sun - NCL to host NOAA hydrographic panel
Quote:
Norwegian Cruise Line will host the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Hydrographic Services Review Panel, a federal advisory committee, on Saturday aboard Norwegian Sun at the Port of Miami.
The event is part of a two-day meeting of the 15-member panel and NOAA officials to consider matters that affect marine transportation, navigation, commercial industries, ocean and coastal stewardship, recreational boating and ocean policy.
Saturday’s session will include a tour of Norwegian Sun and a working lunch.
Capt. Minas Myrtidis, vp environmental and regulatory compliance for NCL, serves as a member of the Hydrographic Services Review Panel.
