Shock from out TA in New York. NCL considered an update for us, but as the ship is full, a rebate has been granted.

Bank account shows, £6 in conversion fees, and £231 refund.

With spending money a part of our prize for the first part of our vacation, all extra donation are fully appreciated.

John

One with poor reviews, Britannia Gatwick Europa. We have used Britannia Hotels before, and have no complaint. They run a 24 hr shuttle.

We do not fly till 12:30 on the 25 Sept, but with the 8 hr time difference in California, and also how we felt when visiting San Francisco when we travelled during the night to Heathrow. We decided on staying overnight at Gatwick.

On my Panama cruise next year we will stay overnight at Gatwick. I would be interested to know what you think of it when you return.

Home at last, following a tiresome 24 hrs traveling. LA was great, cruise fantastic, Queen Mary, truly outstanding.

Will write a review later, but I have been waiting twelve months for an eye operation, which I am having tomorrow. Could have changed it, but even though tired and jet lagged, I want to get it out of the way.

Hope all are well.
