Not arriving till evening on Friday so will hopefully be having dinner with Richard then going to watch fireworks. Seems that we can jump on fairly early on saturday so once up and eaten breakfast, (made sure I included that when booking as enjoyed it last time, ) can leisurely make my way to the terminal. So no touring on the agenda.

Phil and his party on the coach have a last pick-up at 7.45am and then a stop on the way down (coach drivers hours meal break). He is looking at arriving at the terminal at around midday.
If we all get up there for around 11-12 ish, then we can probably find a corner in the lounge upstairs to park ourselves in prior to check-in desks opening. Has either of you been through terminal 2 before? I used it in 2005 for Jewel shakedown.

Not been through terminal 2, was my first time down to Dover on the Braemar cruise.

I have only exited out of terminal 2.
We will leave at 6:30am (ish). We will have a pit stop at South Mimms (mainly for my dad to have his nicotine intake). Hope to arrive in Dover about 9:00am (ish) all being well. If we are that early we might go for a coffee or something. Otherwise head straight to the terminal.

Terminal 2 is where Dream was, Middy...far end of the cruise port, walk past the terminal 1 and keep going. I doubt there will be shuttle buses, so might be an idea to share a taxi with Richard from the hotels, especially if the weather isn't good. From the hotels to terminal 2 is about 30 min walk.
It looks like a warehouse. We could meet up at the cafe in the outlet store like we did last time for coffee perhaps and then go to the terminal.
