Inaugural visit to Southampton by NCL Pearl December 1st 2006
2006 Inaugural Celebration
On Friday 1st December the luxurious new Norwegian Pearl will be celebrating its inauguration in Southampton. Norwegian Pearl has been purpose-built for Norwegian Cruise Line's revolutionary Freestyle Cruising and features a host of amazing innovations, including the very first 10-pin bowling alley to hit the high seas. Guests have a choice of no fewer than 10 distinct international restaurants and when evening falls, 15 bars and lounges offer a dazzling spectrum of entertainment options, including lavish Broadway-style shows in the Stardust Theatre. Daytime activities are equally varied with sparkling swimming pools, a state- of-the-art fitness centre and a full-service luxury spa. (Phil, my TA, will be travelling from Rotterdam to Southampton onboard Pearl for this event and has said he will be taking plenty of photos of the ship for us  )

My TA has confirmed that he will be taking loads of photos of Pearl during his cruise from Rotterdam to Southampton next weekend when she is handed over to NCL. Once he gets back and uploads them all to disc and sends them to me, I shall be posting them in the gallery.
So with a bit of luck, we shall be the first cruise site to have photo's of NCL's newest baby
